Terms of service.

1. Definitions

  • "Company" refers to Spots & Dots Cleaning.

  • "Client" refers to the individual or entity receiving cleaning services from the Company.

  • "Service" refers to the cleaning tasks performed by the Company as agreed upon with the Client.

  • "Cleaner" refers to the Company's employee or subcontractor performing the cleaning services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling or using our services, the Client agrees to these Terms of Service. Any amendments or modifications must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.

3. Services Provided

The Company offers residential and commercial cleaning services in Philadelphia, New York, and New Jersey. Specific services include, but are not limited to:

  • House cleaning

  • Commercial cleaning

  • Move-in/move-out cleaning

  • Post-construction cleaning

  • Junk Removal

  • Dumpster rental

  • Medical Facility Cleaning

The scope of work will be detailed in the service agreement or booking confirmation.

4. Booking and Scheduling

Clients can book services via phone, email, or through our website. At the time of booking, Clients must provide:

  • Accurate service address

  • Preferred service date and time

  • Any specific cleaning requirements or areas of concern

The Company will confirm availability and provide a booking confirmation.

5. Payment Terms

  • Rates: Our rates are based on the type and scope of services provided. Any additional services may incur extra charges.

  • Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept [list accepted payment methods, e.g., credit cards, checks, etc.].

  • Late Payments: Late payments may incur a fee of [specify late fee, e.g., $25] and may result in suspension of future services until the account is settled.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Client-Initiated: Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a service. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of [specify fee, e.g., $50].

  • Company-Initiated: The Company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather or staff illness). In such cases, we will notify the Client as soon as possible and arrange an alternative appointment.

7. Access to Premises

Clients must provide the Company with access to the premises at the scheduled service time. If entry is not possible (e.g., locked doors, inaccessible areas), the Company may charge a fee for lost time and expenses.

8. Client Obligations

Clients are responsible for:

  • Securing fragile or valuable items

  • Informing the Company of any hazards or specific cleaning instructions

  • Ensuring the safety of the working environment for our Cleaners

9. Liability and Damages

The Company is insured and will take reasonable care in performing services. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damages or conditions

  • Wear and tear of surfaces or items

  • Damage due to faulty or improper installation of items

Clients must report any damages or concerns within 24 hours of service completion.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with [specify notice period, e.g., 14 days] written notice. The Company reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of unsafe working conditions or breaches of these Terms of Service.

11. Privacy Policy

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the states in which services are provided (Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey). Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the respective state.

13. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
